This awareness poster created for the World Wildlife Fund promotes preservation of pandas. While researching the World Wildlife Fund and current issues facing the world, I discovered that there are approximately 2,000 pandas left in the entire world. I was taken aback by this statistic and I desired to create awareness towards this startling revelation.
Thus, I found a way to place approximately 2,000 pandas on one poster, using the World Wildlife Fund’s logo to form the words “SAVE US.” From afar, the viewer is uncertain what the little pandas are. In order to fix this problem and create strong visual interest from a distance, a larger, halftone variation of their logo was placed in the background.
