This poster is a representation of the Savannah College of Art and Design 2007 – 2008 academic calendar. Tension and contrast is created between the sleek, manufactured wood texture and the imposition of tree rings, which fragment the typography. Much like a calendar, trees manifest date and time in a physical sense. I attempted to draw parallels between the presence of time within a calendar and nature.
